What you will do

Participate in implementing & developing AEM content type models, workflows, templates, components, and user permissions.
Contribute to all development lifecycle phases and understand the entire software development process, from design to development to deployment to maintenance.
Work closely with Managed Service Team or vendor to ensure sound practices regarding site components, performance and reliability, and content delivery are in place.
Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, and Production environments and migrations.
Communicates both to non-technical clients and technical development teams.
Follow best practices for secure web programming and deployment.
Adhere to internal best rules concerning coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration.

What you'll bring

4+ years of professional hands-on AEM Software Development experience and experience building sites using the AEM 6. x platform.
Understanding frontend technologies like Bootstrap, Backbone.js, React, Handlebars, Grunt, Angular, CSS3, HTML 5 and jQuery.
Experience with Continuous Integration (Bamboo/Jenkins), code formatters, and Automation Testing.
Experience working with an Agile methodology and iterative development.
Good understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
Experience in AEM building blocks, including templates, components, touch UI dialogs etc., and AEM development.
Experience in component-based development in Java using OSGi.
Experience working with Sling Models and Queries.
Understanding the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, and content publishing/deployment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across an organisation.
Team player with the ability to work individually.

Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service is good to have.
Adobe AEM certifications are nice to have.
