What you will do 

As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for transforming data into business knowledge and value. You will apply statistical techniques that allow answering questions about our clients' businesses and decisions, building machine learning model to predict future events and automating existing processes. You will also team up with Data Engineers to ensure we have the best data platforms and organization to maximize the potential of all data and with Software Engineers to maximize the scalability, reliability and availability of all your machine learning models. 


  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data communication to transform numbers into compelling insights and stories that create business value and drive decisions.  

  • Contribute with designing data initiatives that support on understanding user behaviors, long-term trends and/or move key metrics, in the field of marketing analytics, CLM/CRM analytics and/or risk analytics.

  • Solving problems, disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations from data and analysis. 

  • Design, run and evaluate data-driven experiments in live environments that intend to optimize internal processes. 

  • Communicating results and insights via engaging presentations. 

  • Preparing and facilitating data-related workshops. 

  • Managing stakeholders and communicating with executives. 

  • Coaching and mentoring team members. 

What you’ll bring  

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven experience in statistical analysis (i.e. Descriptive statistics, Principal Component Analysis, Clustering).

  • Proven experience in building analysis in at least one professional programming language (i.e. from SAS, R, SPSS, Eviews, R, Python, SQL, Teradata, Hive).  

  • Proven experience in querying relational databases (e.g. via SQL, noSQL).  

  • Experience training, testing and deploying machine learning models in at least one programming language (i.e. R, Python or Scala).  

  • Proven experience communicating the results of analyses to product leadership teams to influence the strategy. 

  • Proven experience designing hypothesis and executing experiments in an industry setting (i.e. A/B testing).  

  • Good knowledge of the English language.

Nice to have: 

  • An advanced degree in quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, computer programming, etc.).

  • Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop). 

  • Professional experience in at least of business domain such as finance, supply chain or e-commerce.
