What you will do 

You’ll join the Data Visualization team of a global company based in Porto, carrying out international projects. As part of a wider Data & Analytics practice, you might collaborate with our Data Science and Data Engineering teams, or team-up with Strategy & Execution teams to deliver innovative use cases with a data-related component. The mission of the Data Visualization team is to enable stakeholders to make strategic data-driven decisions, by uncovering insights hidden in complex business data though the design and the implementation of interactive dashboards.

You’ll have direct contact with client’s key users, from different business units like eCommerce, Marketing, Retail, CRM, Merchandising, Product, Operations, Finance. You’ll be involved in end-to-end Data Visualization projects: stakeholder interviews, business analysis, data analysis, design of a technical solution, implementation of back-end ETL, design and implementation of dashboard’s UX/UI, delivery and key user training. You’ll work with structured Agile methodologies and tools, coached and supervised by experienced Scrum masters.

As Data Visualization Analyst, you’ll bring value to the team by:

Developing Data Visualization solutions, either on back-end (ETL/data models) and front-end (dashboard’s UX/UI) sides
Implementing technical and governance best practices
Following Agile principles, methodologies and tools
Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with client’s key users and IT counterparts

What you’ll bring  

We look for experienced and self-starter professionals, with successful prior experience in delivering Data Visualization solutions. We believe that these elements are crucial to success in this position:

Self-starter personality, fast-learner, critical thinking, curious attitude
Relevant experience (2+ years) in Data Visualization projects (Power BI, Qlik Sense, QlikView, Tableau, Looker, SAP Analytics Cloud, …)
Experience and motivation to improve both back-end (ETL, SQL, coding, data-modeling) and front-end skills (dashboard’s UX/UI)
Expertise of different industries and business functions. Experience and/or Interest in Fashion industry is a plus.
Experience in relating to people with different attitudes and backgrounds, ideally with prior international experience for study and/or work
Fluent English, written and oral. Portuguese is a plus
STEM master’s degree
