What you will do


The HR Business partner forms part of the Metyis HR Team Netherlands and reports directly to the HR Manager Netherlands. HR, Recruitment, L&D and HR Strategy & Innovation make up the Global People Function, reporting to our CPO.

In this role you will be responsible for day to day HR tasks for our colleagues in Amsterdam. Our Amsterdam office has circa 200 colleagues.

With our stellar growth, the HR function is becoming more and more important. Whilst many things are already developed, there is still a lot for you to do. This means that besides your day to day HR tasks, you will have the possibility to participate in HR projects, both within the Netherlands as internationally, to further enhance HR in our fast-paced professional services environment.

In your new role, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business objectives, challenges, and culture to effectively align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Advise and influence leadership on a wide range of HR areas, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and employee development.
  • Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Assist with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in HR operations
  • Participate in special and cross-functional project teams, and / or international HR Projects
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and regulations in all HR operations

What you’ll bring

  • 2-5 years of professional-level experience in human resources, preferably in international organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, Master’s degree advantageous
  • Relevant knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • Experience in or affinity for consulting and professional services fields are preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Excellent people, interpersonal and customer service skills – ability to create quality connections with diverse individuals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to deal with complex issues in a confidential, professional, and sensitive manner, whilst aligning with all relevant stakeholders
