What you will do

  • Lead, coordinate and monitor GCE digital products and projects Test Management.
  • Definition, planning and organization of testing activities and design and develop test cases and test plans for releases.
  • Development of standardized testing methods and tools in constant alignment with relevant Business and IT Teams as well as driving general test automation.
  • Alignment, development and implementation of department standards to ensure process and tool quality and knowledge documentation in cooperation with key IT departments and Product and Project manager.
  • Guidance and distribution of the defined best practices in the team
  • Responsible for establishment of standards and procedures for testing products to determine their quality and readiness for release
  • Identify risks and interdependencies prior to releases to minimise the impact on daily business operations
  • Guide and mentor junior team members
  • Support diverse teams on Manual and Automated Testing best practices

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience as quality assurance or test automation manager.
  • Experience with test automation of frontend and backend in e-commerce.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, KANBAN) and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, test automation software (like TricentisTosca), Smartsheet, SAP and Salesforce CommerceCloud.
  • Excellent understanding of eCommerce system architecture and data structure as well as good analytical & presentation skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills (German & English).
  • Test and ideally project management expertise (minimum 2 years) and experience with relevant technologies e.g. Jira and/ or MS DevOps. Ideally Certified Tester.
  • Understanding of agile principles, strong analytical skills, practices in the exchange with senior technology and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings, as required
