What you will do

Metyis is growing! We are looking for an experienced Front end Developer to join our Ecommerce team.

Lead the design and development of high-performance websites using JavaScript following react.js workflows.
Develop and integrate templates and content slots within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) in Composable Commerce with React as frontend.
Architect, implement, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform.
Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues, providing robust solutions to eCommerce and SFCC-related challenges.
Ensure web pages adhere to best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices and accessibility standards.
Collaborate with backend teams to integrate front-end components seamlessly.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable front-end code, following industry best practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, bug-free code delivery.
Communicate technical limitations and potential roadblocks proactively to your team and stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to client teams, leveraging your deep technical background.
Estimate and assess the feasibility of new features, contributing to planning and decision-making processes.
Lead the implementation of A/B testing strategies to optimize user experiences.
Drive global coordination of development and quality assurance efforts, ensuring alignment across teams.
Anticipate risks and issues at the module level, escalating them as necessary to ensure project success.

What you’ll bring

6-8 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based application. Preferably e-Commerce projects on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/Demandware with a strong focus on front-end development.
In-Depth knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Experience in SFCC ECMAScript, XML, HTML5 CSS, AJAX, jQuery, JSON object definition, Java, Node. JS.
Experience working with Git version control in a collaborative team environment, creating pull requests and performing code reviews.
Experience working on an Agile development team preferably using SCRUM.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong organisational skills to deal with a varied workload and be responsive to the needs of the business.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
Understands the necessity and contributes to efficient coding standards.
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery.
Able to deliver high quality features on new and existing web applications.
Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
Ability to innovate and to effectively deal with rapid change in a positive manner.
Strong initiative, proactive and ability to meet deadlines.
