What you will do

We are looking for a highly skilled Google Tag Manager and Digital Analytics Technician Specialist with proven experience implementing and managing advanced tracking solutions using GTM, Data Layer and GA4.

This person will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurement of user behaviour on digital platforms, as well as collaborating closely with marketing, development and product teams to deliver actionable insights.

  • Design, implement and maintain GTM containers for web sites

  • Create and manage tags, triggers and custom variables in GTM

  • Coordinate with development teams on the proper implementation of Data Layer objects

  • Configure events, conversions, audiences and other key elements in GA4

  • Perform tracking audits, bug troubleshooting and optimization of existing implementations

  • Document implementations and keep the tracking repository up to date

  • Ensure compliance with digital privacy regulations in all implementations

  • Propose improvements to make measurement system improved


What you´ll bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in analytics implementation, GTM, and datalayer setup, preferably in e-commerce

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Solid knowledge in Data Layer implementation and structuring

  • Experience in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) configuration

  • Implementation of third party scripts/pixels for analytics measurements (Facebook, TikTok...)

  • Server side management and maintenance plan

  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Big Query, Looker Studio (Data Studio) and Google Ads

  • JavaScript fundamentals, especially oriented to tracking and custom tags

  • General understanding of the cookie ecosystem, privacy (GDPR, LGPD, etc.) and Consent Mode

  • Analytical skills and structured thinking

  • Business English

  • Ability to work in a team

  • A person who is quick-witted and eager to learn

  • Communication skills to talk to stakeholders and people from other departments

  • Experience in e-commerce or digital media is a plus

  • Attention to detail and quality oriented mindset

  • Proactivity and autonomy to detect problems and propose solutions
