As a Financial Controller at Metyis UK, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our UK entity, reporting directly to the Global Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing accounts, including sub-ledgers, for Metyis UK
Preparing monthly reporting packages and balance sheet reconciliations
Acting as the main point of contact for local tax and accounting consultants
Handling general accounting tasks
Invoicing clients using Xero
Processing expenses and supplier invoices
Performing project financial analysis
Managing payment runs
Overseeing payroll and pension schemes (e.g., Nest)
Supporting end-of-year processes, including P60 and P11D
Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget
Contributing to cashflow forecasting
We’re looking for a motivated, pragmatic professional with the following qualifications and qualities:
A degree or relevant qualification in accounting or administration
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
A trustworthy and honest approach to handling confidential financial data
Strong attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset
Intermediate Excel skills
Experience with Xero is a plus, but not essential
