Juan María Nin Génova is a lawyer-economist with over 40 years of extensive experience in business management, finance, energy and international economic policy. Juan began his career as Director of Programmes for the Spanish Ministry for Relations with the European Community. As former Vice Chairman and CEO of CaixaBank, General Manager of La Caixa, CEO of Banco Sabadell and General Manager of Banco Santander, Juan has focused his career on the banking sector and architected the merger of some of the most important banks in Spain. Throughout his career, Juan has been an advisor, partner, president and board member of several institutions such as the Société Générale de Banque, Itínere Infraestructuras, Habitat, Mora Banc and ITP Aero. He is the author of the book "For a rational growth" and publications on economics and social sciences.
