We are proud to welcome a new Partner and three Associate Partners as they move up within the leadership team, strengthening our work in Digital Commerce, Financial Services, Marketing & Design, and AI & Data, and helping translate ambition into results for our clients and our people.
Their perspectives on growth, ambition, and the future of Metyis reflect the breadth of our work and the depth of our culture.
Meet the newest members of Metyis’ leadership team
Akshat Srivastava, Partner
Akshat joined Metyis in July 2021 and has moved quickly through the leadership ranks. He stepped into the Associate Partner role last year, and as of January 1 he’s taken the next step as Partner. Akshat is a seasoned leader with deep expertise in building and scaling eCommerce platforms and businesses. He operates at the intersection of commercial strategy, digital transformation, and online retail innovation, helping organisations unlock growth through digital-first models. With experience in consulting and operational roles across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, Akshat brings a global perspective to every engagement. He’s passionate about the transformative impact of eCommerce on both businesses and consumers.
Talking about the contribution he wants to make as Partner, Akshat shares: “I want to continue to drive commercial focus for Metyis and focus on the scaling the current clients and potential opportunities.”
On his vision for the firm in the coming years, he is very clear: “I would like to see Metyis be the reference point for other firms, in terms of driving impact and delivering commercial opportunities for our clients.”
When he looks at where the firm can grow, he points to how we execute: “I believe that we have the right strategy and positioning for our growth in terms of delivering impact for clients. We need to drive execution rigour and improve consistency in our processes and work delivery. Once we get this element close to perfection, we shall see tremendous impact on our business.”
And when it comes to his own practice, his ambition is to build on existing success: “We have had strong Digital commerce led partnerships in select markets. My ambition is to scale this model and convert projects into long-term partnerships by leveraging AI as a strong commercial driver in Digital Commerce.”
André Covas, Associate Partner
André is a multidisciplinary designer and art director with over 15 years of experience in user interface and user experience design, design strategy, branding and corporate image, editorial and graphic design. He has risen to Associate Partner while leading the company’s design practice and teaching User Interface Design. Since joining Metyis in 2020, André has helped establish and expand the Marketing & Design capability while shaping the Metyis brand from its inception. As Portugal Campus Lead, he plays a key role in driving the success of the Portuguese practice, promoting collaboration across teams and ensuring the Campus thrives as a hub of innovation, talent and excellence.
When asked about the contribution he wants to make as Partner, André focuses on "expanding our Marketing & Design footprint and further developing the Portugal Campus as a hub for our partners to thrive and our people to grow.”
When André talks about his vision for Metyis, he sees the Campus as central to how we grow: “Our vision is a world-class platform that elevates capability and impact, embodied by the Metyis Campus. In the next few years, we will advance delivery excellence and create the conditions for talent to innovate and execute at the highest standards. As companies and entire industries face the need for accelerating adaptability, data-backed strategy and impeccable execution, Metyis’ proposition becomes increasingly relevant to the market, and the Campus is how we scale that impact.”
When he describes his ambitions for his practice, André points out that, “the design profession is evolving rapidly. With the proliferation of automated systems to create digital products and communication pieces, and as the design execution becomes more delegated, there will be an increasing need for design strategy, curation, orchestration and quality assurance. These areas of high value creation in design will be the true differentiators for companies and brands in the near future, and at Metyis we have a great competitive edge by merging the best creative minds with the best data and insights, strategy, and tech. Our ambition is to tap into that edge and grow our Marketing & Design business both to new clients and existing ones.”
Laura Ron, Associate Partner
Laura joined Metyis 8 years ago and has almost 20 years' experience in financial services consulting, specialising in strategy and execution projects for major Spanish financial companies. She has worked on projects for banks, real estate companies, fintechs and insurance companies.
When Laura reflects on the contribution she wants to make as Partner, she closely links growth with representation: “To promote the growth of Financial Services in Spain by leveraging my deep knowledge of the sector and my strong network of contacts. At the same time, I aim to continue growing both professionally and personally within Metyis, taking on greater responsibilities and contributing to the firm’s long-term success. I aspire to become a reference point for other women in the firm, helping to foster an inclusive environment where talent can thrive, and leading by example through the embodiment of our values, culture, and commitment to excellence.”
Looking ahead, her vision for Metyis builds on what the firm is already doing well: “I hope we continue to grow, expand our business into new countries, and continue to invest in training excellent professionals. This ambition is strongly supported by an exceptional team, with deep expertise across the industries in which we operate, and a strong culture of collaboration and innovation. Our people are at the core of our success, enabling us to anticipate market trends, deliver high-impact solutions for our clients, and adapt quickly to an ever-changing business environment. This solid foundation gives us the confidence to face the future with clarity and determination, reinforcing our long-term objectives as a company while continuing to create sustainable value for our clients, partners, and society as a whole."
Within Financial Services, Laura sees very clear areas where we can grow because, "we have great opportunities to grow with digital and AI-based solutions, as well as increasing our presence with new customers by presenting innovative solutions.”
On her ambitions for the practice, she keeps the focus on the Spanish market and sector leadership: “My main objective as a member of the Financial Services team is to increase our portfolio of projects in the main Spanish banks and insurance companies, positioning us as leading experts in the sector.”
Rahul Jain, Associate Partner
As a seasoned expert with over 15 years of experience, Rahul has spent the past seven years as a AI & Data leader at Metyis. He is a trusted advisor to C-suite leadership, transforming executive vision into reality through scalable platforms, AI products, and strategic governance. During his tenure, he was part of the founding team and has been instrumental in leading the SHV partnership, Adaptfy.
When Rahul shares his vision for the firm, he links it directly to our way of working: “I strongly believe in our motto: Others consult. We deliver. I want to continue to drive this in the AI & Data Solutions practice. The market is crowded with theorists and PoC doers, and I want our practice to evolve into a powerhouse of multi‑year partnerships where we are fully embedded in our clients’ growth. By integrating AI into our core offerings, we’ll show that Metyis doesn’t just navigate the digital landscape, we create impact.”
On where he sees the biggest opportunities, Rahul talks about the strength of our combined capabilities: “We’re operating in an era of rapid AI disruption and geopolitical shifts, which are forcing a full re‑evaluation of business models. Our growth lies in the synergy of our core pillars:
Advisory redefining commercial and operating models
Digital Commerce supporting multi‑channel customer touchpoints and shaping the next wave of personalised journeys
AI & Data Solutions acting as the intelligence engine behind it all.
We aren’t just a service provider. We’re the partner that keeps our clients relevant as industries evolve.”
When talking about the contribution he wants to make, Rahul focuses on closing the gap between ambition and execution: “Beyond driving growth, my most important contribution will be bridging the gap between executive ambition and technical reality. My priority is on helping clients move from experimentation to industrialised AI that directly impacts the P&L. I want our practice to be the gold standard for helping clients transition from isolated pilots to interconnected, autonomous ecosystems. We should be a strategic partner that builds the platforms and BI foundations needed for scale.”
He adds that this ambition is also about people: “By acting as a genuine growth partner, I want to create an environment where our best talent is constantly challenged and our firm is recognised globally in the data and AI space.”
Inspiring impact through leadership
Across different practices, markets and backgrounds, Akshat, André, Laura and Rahul share the same mindset: turn strategy into reality, scale what works while creating space for people and clients to grow.
Their experience and vision will be an important part of how Metyis evolves, deepens long-term partnerships and delivers on its promise to be a true growth partner.
Congratulations to our new Partner and Associate Partners.
